Art Release: Etchings with Tappan Gallery
I’m excited to share my third and final release of the year with Tappan. My new series of etchings on handmade abaca paper is abstract, gestural, and emotive. Intentionally printed to emphasize the translucency of the paper, the work honors both image and support equally. The repetition inherent in the printing process evokes a sense of ritual, marking time through carved gestures and ink impressions on sheets of abaca in varying tones. Together, the prints form a quiet meditation on presence, materiality, and process.
